Terms for walking the valley

1. Who runs the dig

These terms govern your use of fernfossilvalley.com ("Fern Fossil Valley", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of fernfossilvalley.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may enter the valley

Only people of 19 or over may use Fern Fossil Valley; using it at all is your confirmation that you are 19 or over.

3. Satchel coins (virtual)

• Every reel in the valley runs on virtual coins, supplied free of charge.
• Valley coins carry no monetary value; they are not money, credit or property of any kind.
• Valley coins are never purchased, sold, withdrawn or transferred, nor exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes; the valley has no in-app purchases.
• No prize worth anything in the real world is offered at any corner.
• Coins, levels and features in the valley can be adjusted or reset by us at any time.

4. No real-money gambling in the valley

Real-money gambling is neither offered nor promoted at Fern Fossil Valley, and no path in the valley leads to a gambling operator.

5. Your field journal (account)

• Greenstone Hall and Tumblefern Spring, the corners beyond the open tunnel, need a free account. Keep to a single account for yourself and never lend it out.
• Keep your password as private as a secret fossil bed, and tell us straight away if anyone else has got into your account.
• Delete your account from the account page whenever you choose; it goes immediately and cannot be brought back.
• An account that disrupts the valley, or that we believe belongs to someone under 19, may be suspended.
• Coins, levels and missions are entries in the account, not property of yours, and they can be reset.

6. Fair use of the dig

Leave the site undisturbed and keep automated tools away from it. Never offer coins for trade, and never let anyone under 19 into the valley.

7. Opening hours of the dig, and liability

We offer the site “as is” and may change any part of it, or take it down. If something malfunctions, all plays and pays are void. These terms never limit a liability that law forbids us to limit, and your statutory rights are left untouched.

8. Ontario law and the dig

These terms are read under the laws of the Province of Ontario and whichever federal laws of Canada apply in that province.

9. Reaching the dig team
